Aviva picks Schneller as Czech Rep...

INSURANCE giant Aviva has appointed Jiri Schneller as chief executive of its Czech Republic branch. Schneller joins from Ace European Group where he was chief executive of the Czech Republic and Slovakia business. Prior to that he was a senior manager at Winterthur life insurance company where he was responsible for business development and distribution of individual and group life insurance. Schneller said: “My main priority is to ensure that Aviva’s presence in the Czech Republic matches Aviva’s leading position in Europe. Through Aviva’s direct sales force and broker relationships we will continue to offer customers in the Czech Republic products developed and sold by Aviva throughout Europe.” Andrea Moneta, Aviva’s chief executive for Europe, said he was “delighted” with Schneller’s appointment. “He brings an exciting mix of European experience combined with a deep knowledge of the Czech Republic insurance market. “I look forward...
