Casualty Actuarial Society president takes up role

THE CASUALTY Actuarial Society (CAS) has confirmed Roger Hayne, a consulting actuary at Milliman in Pasadena, California, it president for the forthcoming year.

He has served the past year as president-elect, a role that Ralph Blanchard, an actuary with The Travelers Companies in Hartford, Connecticut now steps into.

Hayne has also acted as vice president of research and development on the society’s executive council.

Previous CAS president John Kollar, a vice-president at ISO stepped down from the role following the completion of his term of office.
