Graham joined the Halliwell Forensics team in September 2023 after three years as an Associate with Geoffrey Hunt & Partners. He has conducted numerous investigations which have included electrical faults and failures; fires, both commercial and domestic; blast investigations and electric shock incidents.

Graham has also provided evidence on electrical, explosive and fire safety issues in several large industrial disputes, including giving oral evidence at the International Dispute and Resolution Centre as an expert witness.  He has prepared CPR 35 compliant reports and has successfully completed a number of Bond Solon training courses for expert witnesses.

Prior to this, Graham had a successful career in the Royal Navy as an Engineer Officer, where jobs included acting as Fleet Weapon Engineer in the Royal Navy of Oman. Tasks included investigating all ship related incidents, including fires, blast damage and flooding.  As the Royal Navy’s Fleet Explosives Officer, he conducted all investigations into explosive and gunnery related incidents both at sea and ashore.  He has managed teams of up to 65 technicians working as service engineers, and project managed the sale of two minehunters to the Lithuanian Navy for £55M.

Graham is a Chartered Electrical Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree with honours in electrical engineering and a Master of Science degree in Explosives and Ordnance Engineering. He has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in International Defence Studies and is trained in public relations.  He has completed the NAPIT electrician’s competent person course and City and Guilds courses in the requirements for electrical installation and building regulations for electrical installations.
